The Hamilton Beach 64650 Classic Stand Mixer, ranked as a #1 best seller on Amazon, can be used as both a hand as well as a stand mixer.
Many users appeared to expect this mixer to be able to handle all types of mixture and to mix them perfectly on its own. However, when you consider that this product is priced below $40, this is about as cheap as you will get for an all-in-one combination stand and hand mixer.
You wouldn’t expect the product to be up to the performance and to have the functionality of a mixer in the $300+ range. However, the Hamilton Beach Classic stand mixer does get the job done, offers good value for money and has had a generally positive review by most customers.

Leave plenty of time between each “Quick Burst” use.
You have to remember that this particular mixer is not a set-it, run-it, forget-it stand mixer. Whilst you can leave it alone for a short time, you shouldn’t expect to come back to a perfect mixture.
The plastic stand may seem flimsy at first but is robust enough to hold the entire assembly. The attachments are smaller compared to those of the power horse mixers.

Hamilton Beach 64650 Bowl Size & Capacity
The bowl that comes with this mixer is stainless steel and 4-quart capacity. Although it’s not motorized, the bowl is on a rotating base. The bowl does not turn automatically, but the rotation of the mixer beaters can make it rotate slowly. If the bowl is very full or, depending on the consistency of the mix you’re using, it might turn or you might have to give it a nudge every so often.
You have to manipulate the Shift and Stir Bowl lever on the side of the turntable in order to move the turntable to allow the beaters to reach the side of the bowl. This can be a wee bit tricky and you have to practice it for a bit to perfect your technique.
The beaters also do not reach down to the bottom of the bowl and you will have to scrape the bottom.
